Mechanical Labs have state of Art Infra-structure. Mechanical Department comprises of various lab equipped with the latest equipment and apparatus as per UPTU syllabus such as applied thermodynamics Lab, Measurement & Metrology Lab, Heat and Mass Transfer Lab, Material Science Lab, Dynamics of Machine Lab, Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Lab, Automobile Lab, Measurement Lab, CAD/CAM Lab.
The Chemical Laboratories have Research level Facilities. The capacity of Chemistry Lab is 60. It has three parts – General Lab, Weighing Room and Analytical Room. The Analytical Room consists of spectra-photometer, TLC, GLC, Paper Chromatography, PH Meter, Thermostats, Refri-gerators, etc. The chemicals available in this lab are of analar grade and equipments are also high quality.
FGIET has an exclusive Language Lab. that allows the students to turn their dream of communication expertise into reality. It has a state-of-the-art infrastructure and is well equipped with hi-tech instruments with an advanced facility of dual track recording system, recent presentation tools to provide the students a platform to put theory into practice. Here students are trained and guided in various fields to meet the recent trends of the universe.
The Engineering Physics Laboratory is equipped with latest, highly sophisticated equipments. Lab has research level facility in the field of Solid State Physics. The capacity of Lab is 60 seats and lab has in its three sub labs such as General Physics Lab, Optics Interferometer Lab and Physics Research Lab. Physics Lab consists, capacity measuring unit, puries grade research level chemical diffraction grating Polarimeter, Hall effect setup etc.
The workshop consists of carpentry section, fitting section, welding section, foundry section and sheet metal section with tools such as bench drilling machine, foundry equipment, sheet metal tools, grinding machine, Advance Machine shop, Modern Welding Machine, CNC Machine etc. required for the conduct of practical classes as per UPTU Syllabus.
Feroze Gandhi Institute of Engineering Technology have a spacious seminar halls for interaction with practioners and professionals and compacted with fully Air-conditioned. More than two hundred people can attend the Seminar Hall.
A well equipped Airconditioned Classroom for teaching in Post Graduate levels. Teaching Aids like audio visual aids, slide projector, overhead projector, etc. are provided to have better teaching environment.
FGIETs Faculty performs better teaching with the help of above teaching aids.
A Institute has spacious drawing hall equipped with modern drawing tables and stools intended to facilities the students to do the Machine drawing & Engineering drawing with ease and comfort is provided.
Education with recreation is the key for keeping mind fresh and steady education and recreational, activities go hand in hand at FGIET. The Institution organizes industrial tours to expose the staff and students to the Industrial Environment, as we believe that pragmatic knowledge is must to comprehend theoretical aspects.
The student belonging to OBC, SC, ST and below poverty level, General students are awarded scholarship by ‘Samaj Kalyan Vibhag’. Student may also get the information about the ‘CHATRA KALYAN NIDI NIYAMAWALI – 2003’ from the library.
“ANUSANDHAN & TECHNO-FEST-2011” the vibrant cultural & technical festival of FGIET was held on with a great exuberance and vivacity in every year. In which many competitions are celebrated in FGIET Campus, like quiz competition, deliberation competition, rangoli competition, singing & dancing competition & other cultural activities. With active participation of enthusiastic students, the programme turned out to be a grand source. The students from NIFT, IGRUA & RGIPT also participated in FGIET’s Cultural Activities.
The college provides a wide range of opportunities and facilities for learning indoor and outdoor games viz. cricket, football, hockey, tennis, badminton, basketball, volley ball, athletic events, etc.
