The Electronics and Communication Engineering Department was established in 2004, the inception year of the Institute, to offer Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering. The department strongly believes in imparting quality teaching and encourages students for innovative and original thinking. The department works in harmony with students to realize their greatest potential and helps them to transform into good human beings and competent professionals. The Department has seasoned and dedicated faculty with strong commitment for promising learning environment. Pedagogy adopted by the department includes constant interaction with research organizations and industry, modern teaching and learning aids and off the book study on topic of relevance. The state-of-the-art laboratories, for Digital Electronics, Digital Signal Processing, Analog and Digital Communication, Microwave, Optical communication, Microprocessor, Integrated circuits, Electronics workshop, PCB design, Control Systems and Networking which assure hands-on experience for the students thereby giving them the necessary and sufficient practical knowledge that they need. Every year, a number of our students also qualify the GATE exam with high score. The department always promotes the need of continuous learning and adapting towards the technological changes so as to meet the realistic challenges of industry. The department has always played an instrumental role in overall performance of the Institute.
